In a poetic exploration of home videos, a girl struggles to navigate the in between spaces of her multicultural identity.
Made in collaboration with Bryce Dallas Howard’s Nine Muses Lab at NYU Tisch School of the Arts.
Hide & Seek was co-written by Anuka Sethi and Saniya Jaffer in early 2021. The crew of Hide & Seek was all female.

Hide & Seek Hits the Festivals

Official competitor in the prestigious Satyajit Ray category. Anuka and Izzie attended the festival to see the Hide & Seek world premiere on June 29th.

Hide & Seek was apart of the online screening of the New York Indie Shorts Awards at XERB TV from May 3-8th

Hide & Seek was selected for screening at DCSAFF and will screen July 16-17th. It will receive a laurel and is in competition for best Short Film Jury and Best Short Film Audience Poll Awards.
