One But Many

Dir. Janna Giacoppo

ONE BUT MANY is a documentary feature that investigates how, in Africa, Human-Wildlife Conflict has become the fastest-growing threat to endangered species and the shocking way that the United States government and trophy hunters are fueling this war between humans and wildlife.

In Africa, where so many species face extinction, a controversial question arises: Does human-wildlife conflict fuel wildlife crime, propelling species to extinction? In a system where governments, wealthy landowners, and foreigners benefit from wildlife at the expense of the local community, could the answer to saving endangered species lie in an untapped opportunity for humans and wildlife to prosper from their proximity to one another and not their distance?
